COVERING: One used, non-vacuum, Ross double planetary mixer model HDM-75, including the following features and specifications:

• The mixer is equipped with a Delroyd model HV-90 gear reducer. The reducer has a 59.25:1 ratio which will drive the planetary gearbox at approximately 29-1/2 rpm with an input speed of 1750 rpm.
• The bronze worm wheel has been inspected and found to be in excellent condition.
• All oil seals will be replaced with new and the gear reducer will be filled with sulfur-free worm gear lubricant.
• The mixer is equipped with a US Motors mechanical (belt type) variable speed drive with a 20 HP, 1,200 rpm, 230/460, Class I, Groups C&D, Class II Groups F&G explosion proof, inverter duty motor. The mechanical variable speed unit has an output speed range of 438 – 1750 rpm which will drive the planetary gearbox at approximately 7-1/2 to 29-1/2 rpm. The unit will be tested to make sure that it’s in good operating condition.
• The planetary gearbox is cast iron. No caps or seals are included. All bearings, bushings and gears inside the planetary gearbox will either be good used, or new to bring the machine to good working mechanical condition. The planetary gearbox will be lubricated with synthetic grease. The stirrer shafts are not equipped with mechanical seals.
• The rectangular stirrers and the stirrer shafts are type 304 stainless steel.
• The non-vacuum dust hood is type 304 stainless steel and includes one 3” Tri-Clamp sight/charge port, one charge shoot with a hinged door, and one Crouse Hinds XP light. The hood does have some dents, but is useable.
• The mixer is raised by a used air/oil lift that is currently in good working condition. New packing will be installed on the ram and the valves will be inspected to make sure they’re in good working condition.
• The lift is operated with a hand operated air control valve and a foot operated oil valve.
• The machine’s base is fabricated from steel and is 6” high.
• The machine is equipped with two, non-vacuum, non-discharge rated mix cans on casters with type 304 stainless steel product contact surfaces and painted carbon steel exterior parts. The mix cans do not have outlet valves.
• No re-painting of the machine is included in this proposal.

WARRANTY: This machine is sold “as-is”. No warranty is provided. We will test the machine (under no load conditions)

and provide a video of it running before shipment. We will also welcome a witnessed test if desired.
