VMI Supertest Air (EX-ATEX) Laboratory High Speed Mixer

The VMI Supertest Air (EX-ATEX) is a powerful laboratory mixer designed for operating in a hazardous, flammable, or explosive environment (ATEX II 2 GD, zones 1.21 and 2.22 compliant). The Supertest Air includes a stainless steel motor enclosure for use in sanitary or harsh environments. 

The Supertest Air allows the user to switch between axial or radial flow low shear mixing, high speed / high shear dispersion, or Rotor & Stator high shear mixing. This allows the development chemist and formulator a flexible platform for mixing, suspending, dispersing, particle size reduction, emulsifying, and homogenizing a wide range of formulas at low, medium or high viscosities.  

The Supertest Air is driven by a 750 watt (>1 HP electrical equivalent) air motor. It can utilize over 100 available mixer and homogenizer attachments to provide axial or radial flow low shear mixing, high speed / high shear dispersion, or Rotor & Stator high shear mixing. The analog controls allow for fast adjustments to the mixer speed. Digital speed readout and timer are optionally available.

The innovative and patented VMI one-handed beaker / container clamping mechanism is extremely convenient and safe. The Supertest Air is capable of processing batches from 200 ml to 20 liters.
