Includes 18 plates providing 17 chambers. Manifold and hydraulics have been completely rebuilt and cloths replaced. A picture of this unit is below.JonWe purchased it used from WWE - their original quote is attached. When we received it we needed it to be automatic so we removed the timers and replaced them with a PLC (Click PLC from Automation Direct). The PLC monitors the time between diaphragm pump strokes. Once it slows down it kicks up the air pressure from 25 PSI to 50 PSI then 75 PSI and finally 100 PSI. Once the strokes slow down at 100 PSI it turns on a Cake Full light to signal that a filter dump is needed. The ram stroke is air over hydraulic so the plates don't have to be manually unclamped. WWE did most of the rebuild which is detailed in their quote. Other than adding the PLC and putting in new air regulators that was all we did. It comes with the ARO 1.5 diaphragm pump and two sets of filter cloths - one in the machine and the other new. The specs for the filter cloths are on the WM Watermark quote. We tried unsuccessfully to run wastewater contaminated with plastic fine particles and 1500 ppm paper pulp. The paper pulp is too heavy to allow the porosity needed to make a good cake so the filters would hit 100 psi with only ¼ worth of paper pulp on the filters. We only ran it around 200 hours before giving up on the filter press process. So it has very low hours and is in good shape and ready to run.
