We have had some interest in the smoked meats w/dehydrating trade. Adding a smoker to the inlet air say at 10% air inlet draw and recirculate 90% would work well. Also adding the heat in the smoke would reduce the electrical need.FYIRickMFG. IN CHINA - APPROX. Rated 100 kilos per 24 hours dehydrated fruit (examples) to approx. 10% water remaining. Unit comes with (2) carts each with 24 trays incline ramp. Dehydration occurs by circulating hot air manual dampers for additional control. Hot air created by convection fans across stainless steel coils. Touch screen controls with standard analog controller (highly reliable & basic operating for error-free processing). Time at temperature. Power supply 220 V AC balanced 3 phase or Buck boosters needed for Delta-Y 208 3 phase. T-304 stainless steel construction. Unit was purchased new in late 2008 and never put into service.
