We do not see why it would not support them however we really do not know.How is container sealed? The top has two hooks that hook to pegs coming out the side. The top then has a dial when turned it gets tighter. The top also has a rubber gasket and a small lip on the inside of the cover.Is it airtight? It was really clean when it came in so we assume it is. We have not checked it.Can it handle regular use 25-50 hrs/week?
