The (Rex) Envirex Separator is a composed of a flash mixer flocculator and separator. The tank weight is 4800 lbs. with water weight of 119000 lbs giving the unit a total weight of 167000 lbs. Designed Tension Time for the flash mixer is 1.26 minutes for the flocculator 8.1 minutes and for the separator 13.7 minutes. The flocculator drive is powered by a eurodrive unit 1/3 HP. 20-4 rpm. The Flash Mixer is a lightnin mixer 1/3 HP. The Skimmer Drive is powered by 1/3 HP eurodrive unit. Screw conveyor drive on bottom of separator is driven by 1/3 HP euro drive unit. The Average design data for the DAF System is 30 GPM Raw Flow 15 GPM On Recycle Flow with a Total Flow of 45 GPM. Surface Loading is 1.63 gals/ft2. Approx. dimensions of Rex unit 30 in. wide x 12 ft. long x 41 in. deep (working). Overall dimensions of Rex approx. 38 in. wide x 20 ft. long x 8 ft. 6 in. high. The Perrin Filter Press is Model 100-30 . Operating pressure of the unit is 100 psi. The unit is currently operating at approx. 10 cubic ft. capacity and generates a 1 in. (25mm) cake size. The filter plates are recessed and constructed from high density polypropylene. They are center feed with 4 corner closed delivery.
