I will be back charging to have two (2) technicians for 12 hours at $60 per hour each and the cost to have the waste product disposed of by a company that handles hazardous waste. It is one thing to buy a used DAF unit but to have hazardous waste is another. Additionally the unit was received with a cracked valve which had leaked over the freight trailer and more than likely over the interstate. I have attached pictures of the unit. The sludge at the bottom of the DAF unit contained over 50 gallons of what looked like slop oil—possibly heavy metals. If this matter does not get resolved accordingly my company will be contacting Utah State EPA to get their involvement.You may contact me at my office to discuss.
