Functioning more as a pump the C blade pushes product over a smooth surface before releasing into the batch. There are no teeth on the C blade. 4/18/12 - from roger meyersJon -- Thanks very much for doing all the research! My 2 cents ... I think your ask prices are a bit low. If I were appraising it: FMV Mixer $17500 - $18000 (50% of RCN with a lil' bump)FMV Tanks $2000 - $2500 ea. (I see a premium because they're OEM built together) With all due respect (and then some) this is a 2009 machine in what appears to be xlnt condition ... And this is Arnold Equipment. 5 generations strong. The Sogolovitz legacy should not be cheapened! Even without the pumping station we do have the 3 OEM tanks with a low hour mixer so we have a matched set designed for production with a long life ahead. Let's pump it up! Bear in mind I don't have a feel for the process equipment business like you do but I do have a feel for the used business in general. This stuff looks to be made very well. And clean stainless is clean stainless . -- And we may have a 15% discount to contend with - - So based on the RCN you provided and being 2009 equipment I would think we ask something like $12500 or even $13500 on the mixer and $1500 each for the tanks. (I would even say $14500 if you let me). If we get no action in 90-120 days then we can temper it down. My suggestion to ask: Mixer $13.500with one tank $15000with two tanks $16500with three tanks $17500 but I would really like to start at: Mixer $14500with one tank $16000with two tanks $17500with three tanks $18500 What do you think?? Am i just completely mad??? We can always come down. Pretty difficult to go up.
