SOLD AS OF 8/21/08Union Standard # 72253 - Avail. conf. 2/5/07AEC Price: $8250 less 10%NYC9/23/05 - I looked at our stock # 72253 with my chief tech see the last three photos which are of the bowl rim cover and gasket on the cover. He indicated that is it best used for steam heating he is not sure if pulling a vacuum would cause the temp to become too hot in the bowl…The cover has a very good gasket seal but nothing on the name plate that says it is vacuum rated.
