National Board #1218. 60 HP main drive with (4) 10 HP 3/60/230/460V high speed choppers with air purge seals. Approx. 20 in. dia. top center charge port with air operated slide gate valve. 15 in. dia. bottom center manual discharge valve. Smaller off center bottom discharge for sampling. (2) approx. 15 in. x 17 in. side access doors for cleaning. On stand with control box. This mixer was previously used to uniformly disperse powdered sugar flavorings etc. into a syrup base to make doughnut icing mix. It was removed from active service in July 2011.
