The model 550 is designed for most high viscosity products.2. How old is the unit? - Mfg 19843. What parts have been replaced ie bearings belts? We do not have access to maintenance records. However we offer the machine in Good Used Operating Condition.4/16/04 - cust #20775 questions - The first item the 6 gal mixer (#3471) may be interesting to us if it is still available. I have a couple of questions for you if this unit is still available.How old is the unit? Mfg 1984Does it have the original manufacturers plate with model number and year?Has the unit been tested for mechanical function and vacuum integrity?Are there any warranties?Is the price negotiable? It is quite a bit more expensive than a couple of other machines we have our eyes on but it is more along the lines of what we were looking for. There are three ways we could go on this. We could wait until a machine with the right price comes along we could compromise on our specifications a bit or of you are able to move a decent amount on the price we may just take this machine if it is suitable. 4/20/04 - to vendor
