If there is anything else let me know. The blender is sized for 40 cu ft. The weight capacity is dependent on the density of the product. To give an answer based on weight is to possibly give a wrong answer. For instance we have blended lots of sugar based products in that blender. We would typically make about a 2000 pound blend. The density of sugar is around 50 lbs/cu ft. -- so the math works out -- 40 cu ft X 50 lbs is 2000 lbs of blend. If your purchaser was to assume he could make a 2000 lb blend of a lower density product he would not be able to get 2000 lbs into the blender and blend efficiently. On the other hand if he tried to blend 40 cu ft of cement (higher density) then spray 100 gallons of water into the blender he might be over capacity. Accordingly I would still use the specification of 40 cu ft. From the point of view of experience I know the motor and the clutch were designed to be able to stop and start under full load under high resistance (using paddles bolted onto the ribbons) so it does have experience blending heavy loads.
