The motor serial number is still there (6013 5616) but I had no luck with that number. It has an old A+B Starter/ Disconnect Box which is a series 712 and it appears that the rating for the box is up to 7 1/2 horsepower.The motor has a very large case but it appears to be similar to other 3 x 8 Thropp mills that are listed as 2 horsepower. (Goes to show that maybe I shouldn't judge a motor by it's case ) I checked the wiring and it is connected to a standard 220 / 3 phase circuit that our small mixers use. I hope this is enough information for the customer but if not just let me know what to look for. Sorry for the confusion on the power estimate.8/24/09 - JohnThe rollers appear to be chromed steel. (they are very magnetic)The motor does not have a tag but I can tell you that it is running on 220 / 3phase current. There is a 90amp breaker box installed on the side of the frame but no other information. Judging by the size of the motor case I would guess at around 5-10hp.
