Champion #13359 - Avail. conf 6/14/11AEC price $18500 less 15%Marlboro NJ7/22/08 - There is no temperature associated with this particular rating. however the industry standard is about 240 F with 40 psig. I’m going to check with an engineering firm I know to see how much we can push the temperature rating. This is also a common problem associated with lubricant processing - the process temps are in the 400/500 f area and using steam is next to impossible if not highly dangerous. At 125 psig the temp is 325 so naturally to reach 400 plus we would be working with a very high steam temperature. hence why all lubricant process systems use a recirculating heater with various heat transfer medias like Oil poly pro dowtherm etc. This allows temps up to 650 (depending on equipment and media) while using pressures under 15 psi get the picture ??? So my suggestion is buying a nice recirc heater and piping it in to this unit. we’d change the scrapers to soft metal since the Teflon or nylon may melt or soften.. melt temps for both are in the area of 400 f. Call me to discuss. Then I won’t have to sit here and write these dissertations.
