I guess he means another type of motor. If he needs a 3HP variable speed motor that could be done. I would guess a new 3HP variable speed motor would cost around $1500 plus or minus. If a used one could be located he probably could save about half that amount. If he places the order and pays for the vessel we could source the motor for him but he would have to pay the cost. Rgds. We can either ship it in an upright or in a horizontal lying down position. If it was shipped upright with the present motor it will measure approximately 10’3 in. high which is border line for a single drop deck open truck. If we remove the motor which we can do it can easily go on a single drop deck.We estimate weight for shipping to be approximately 2000 pounds and we do not feel it should be shipped in a closed truck but rather on an open top step deck truck. If it lies down it would take up approximately 50 in.wide X 10’ in length and we can either remove the motor or leave it in place whatever is preferred by the customer. If it goes on the right type of truck it definitely does not need permits.Presently the overall dimensions as a vertical unit would be approximately 50 in. wide X 50 in. deep X 10’3 in. high with motor.
