Insulated. 12/4/03 - cust #19743 question: Is this tank jacketed for using ammonia to cool it down.... 12/19 - to vendor12/19 - per vendor - The 20000 Gallon silo in our inventory is only insulated. I have a source for ammonia jacketed tanks we are waiting for him to return our call. The pictures of the inside are very poor due to the fact that it is so dark in the tank I just hold the camera inside the manway and shoot. The pattern you see on the top is a reflection not a defect. The inside is highly polished as it was used as a milk storage tank.

| Equipped with | 1 - used 20000 gallon Crepaco Vertical Storage Tank. 138 in. dia. x 328 in. deep. Dome top flat sloping bottom. 3 in. outlet. Stainless construction with approx. 3 in. of insulation around it. There is also a layer of steel skin around the insulation. With 2.5 in. & 4 in. fittings in alcove as well as 3 in. & 2 in. pipe running to top. 16 in. x 20 in. side manway. Last used for temporary milk storage (prior to packaging). Approx. 4' square alcove that goes through a wall at the base. The alcove was cut off in order to remove the tank from service it can be welded back together very easily. Tank is being offered as-is where-is. |
