SWEEP BLADE ASSEMBLY

• Drive: High efficiency right angle helical gear box, 39:1 ratio

• Blade(s): Helix scraper blade: Patented Sidewall Flow-Through Single Anchor helical sweep blade constructed of 304 stainless steel and equipped with trailing Teflon wipers, easily removable, and positioned to scrape both the side and bottom of the vessel. This configuration provides excellent rolling batch turn over and is easy to clean.

AUTO PROCESS CONTROL II (APCII) USING ALLEN BRADLEY PLC AND DISPLAY SCREEN

The Hockmeyer Auto Process II system (APC II) consists of two main components; Explosion proof (NEMA 7) Push button station located at the machine, and the AB Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with support components in a general purpose (NEMA 1) cabinet connected to a NEMA 1 Yaskawa inverter to be located in a safe area away from the machine. Your contractor in accordance with Hockmeyer provided schematics wires the two assemblies together on site and includes the following:

• Flange mount fused main disconnect

• (1) 60 HP Yaskawa Inverter

• (1) 7.5 HP Yaskawa Inverter Hockmeyer Equipment Model HCPS-20XP 9/22/21

o Branch circuit protection

o Line reactor

• Control for HPU motor

• Control transformer

The push button station contains a panel mounted display that indicates multiple functions and screens:

• Power draw in Kw

• Cumulative hours and Kwh

• Batch temperature

• Elapsed batch time

• Mill speed

• Parameters for temperature set points and timers are set at the push button station:

o When the “Water” selector switch is set to “Auto” APC II allows these presets to activate the high temperature warning light, auto slow down to allow cooling the batch, and auto shut down when temperature limit is exceeded

• Trouble shooting screens

• Maintenance alerts

• All push buttons to match the machine rating

• Operator interface is panel mounted

• Mushroom head emergency stop push button

• The PLC comes completely programmed and ready for use as described above. Both panels are wired to internal, finger-safe, terminal blocks. All control signals are 24 VDC for operator safety. A built-in USB port provides a means for in-house diagnostics through a PC and an Ethernet connection is provided to interface with Distributive Control Systems to interface with Distributive Control Systems.

MAINTENANCE CART

• Wheeled cart with 2 rigid, 2 swivel, handle, and foot pedal lift piston

• Open dish with grate to hold process chamber, screen assembly, and grinding media

• Ergonomic hydraulic lift design to support entire process chamber for maintenance or cleaning parts by the operator without raising or lowering the machine
